This page explains what information L2 Terror ("we") keeps about players and why. We keep as little as possible.

What we store

Game account: your account name and your password. The password is stored only as a secure hash, we cannot read it.
Connection data: your IP address and login times, and technical data about your game client (for example a hardware ID if an anti-cheat is used). We use this to protect the server, stop cheating and enforce bans.
Game data: your characters, items, chat and actions inside the game, kept in server logs for moderation.
Support: what you write to us in Discord tickets.

What we do not do

We do not sell or share your data with anyone, except when the law requires it.
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
The website shows how many people are online in our Discord. To do this your browser loads public data from Discord (discord.com). Remembering that you closed the Discord window is stored only for the current browser session.

Where it is stored

Our game server and database are hosted in Germany (EU). The website is served through Cloudflare. Our Discord server is run by Discord under their own privacy policy.

How long

Account and game data are kept while the server is running. Logs and backups are deleted automatically after a limited time. Data about banned accounts can be kept longer to prevent ban evasion.

Your rights

You can ask us to see or delete your account data at any time. Open a ticket in our Discord (#open-a-ticket). Staff will never ask for your password.

Donations

Donation details will be announced before the Grand Opening. Payments will be handled by the payment provider; we do not store card details.

Age

If you are under 16, please ask a parent or guardian before creating an account.

Changes

We may update this page. The date at the top shows the latest version.
